BEST PIZZA IN JACKSONVILLE, FLI have been a resident of Jacksonville, Florida going on five years now and for my money, I would have to say that the Bistro Aix serves the best pizza in town.
The Bistro is located in Jacksonville's historic San Marco district a small trendy part of town, with vaulted copper ceilings, exposed brick, berets on all the kitchen staff. The Bistro is the city hottest spot great for lunch with friend’s large groups or small or just people watching. It is also the perfect place for a romantic evening out. Whether you are in the mood for a filet mignon or a basic cheese pizza there is something on the menu for everyone.
The menu has mostly Provencal and Mediterranean dishes that are complimented with an extensive and moderately priced wine list featuring over 250 selections and 50 wines by the glass. After the main course if your waistband can stand it, the restaurant employs a pastry team, so all the desserts on the menu are made in-house.
The Bistro is open seven days a week, with plenty of parking, but if you want to get a good table on the weekend, you might want to get there before 8:00 or you might have to wait for a table.
